Tab Trade — What It Is

 

 

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

 

 

His background matters. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a founder with no industry background.

 

 

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

 

 

Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker this new, the breadth is not narrow.

 

 

Platforms

 

 

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

 

 

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.

 

 

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.

 

 

FIX API is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should make the platform set when it arrives.

 

 

Accounts and Pricing

 

 

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

 

 

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.

 

 

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

 

 

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.

 

 

How Fast Are the Fills

 

 

This is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

 

 

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

 

 

Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

 

 

Safety

 

 

Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

 

 

However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.

 

 

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.
