The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your assessment.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
